Summer School

• You can pay by mailing a check or money order, pay in person at the summer school office, or through PaySchools Central in your PowerSchool account.
• If mailing a check or money order to the Summer School office after your online registration, please make:

• If paying via PaySchools Central (in-district students only) you must have or create a PaySchools Central account using your students 6-digit ID number.  Please visit the WCSOH.ORG; At bottom of page under “Resources” click PaySchools Central. Click on Student Fees to pay for Summer School.

• All cancellations must be received in writing/email to: bussardm@wcsoh.org 
• A full refund will be given only if cancellation occurs on or before Wednesday, June 3.
• If a student registers/pays for a summer class; later finds out they passed the class during the school year and does not need to take the summer class, a full refund will be given.

• Credit Recovery Courses: 
  • These courses are available for current Westerville City School (WCS) students only.  Students must have already received a failing grade for the course.
    • Credit Recovery Registration Fees  
      • 0.50 & 0.25 credit recovery course - $50
      • 1.0 credit recovery course - $100
• Credit Advancement Courses
  • These courses are available to both current WCS students and non WCS students.  Students that have never taken the course will take the course for Credit Advancement and will incur a fee
    • Credit Advancement Registration Fees
      • .25 credit advancement course - $100 current WCS students/ $235 non WCS students
      • .50 credit advancement course - $100 current WCS students/ $235 non WCS students
      • 1.0 credit advancement course - $200 current WCS students only.
  • Financial Literacy will available at no cost for students in the cohorts of 2026 and 2027 in WCS

• End of Course exams are part of several courses offered in Summer School and are part of  Ohio’s Graduation Requirements. (English 2, Algebra, Geometry, Biology, American History, American Government)
• If a student is taking one of these courses for credit advancement, they are required to take the exam. 
• If a student is taking one of these courses for credit recovery and is in need of passing or obtaining the competency score (Algebra 1 and English 2) to meet the graduation requirements, they are required to take the exam. 
• Testing dates are Wednesday, June 24 and Thursday, June 25.
