This office is responsible for identifying and working to meet the needs of our gifted students by developing, delivering, and encouraging ability-appropriate academic challenges as well as social and emotional support for our students.
Announcement
The Gifted Department is now accepting requests for gifted identification as well as for subject or whole grade acceleration requests.
The request window is open from March 16- May 15, 2026.
Early Entrance to Kindergarten

NUMATS
- Northwestern University Midwest Academic Talent Search Information: The NUMATS program offers above-grade-level tests (EXPLORE©, the ACT©, and the SAT©) to qualified students in grades 3 through 9 at test centers in our area. These tests are internationally recognized measures of academic ability.
