IDEA Part B & Title 1 Parent Involvement Policy Review to be held April 26
Notice: Federal Application for IDEA Part B (2023-2024)
Westerville City Schools is applying to receive federal IDEA Part B funds to assist with the education of students with disabilities aged 3 through 21 for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. As part of meeting federal assurances, the district must give community members an opportunity to provide input into how the district plans to use the funds. Community members who would like to provide input are welcome to attend a public hearing hosted by the Office of Special Education. This hearing will be held at 4 PM on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, in Minerva France Elementary School’s media center.
Notice: Title 1 Parent Involvement Policy Review
District families served by Title 1 programs need to annually review and provide feedback on the district’s parent involvement policy (policy 2261.01) per the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, Title 1 Part A Section 1118. Feedback for this involvement policy will be collected by the Office of Elementary Schools at 4 PM on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, in the Minerva France Elementary School media center.
