Kindergarten enrollment NOW OPEN for the 2025-26 school year!
To be included in the All-Day Kindergarten (ADK) lottery process, children must be enrolled in the Westerville City School District by February 28, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. Families with students already attending the WCSD Preschool Program will not need to re-enroll and will be contacted separately.
Westerville City Schools offers both Half-Day and All-Day Kindergarten within each home school. Here is some important information to remember:
- If your child’s birthday is on or before August 1, 2025 - you may enroll them for Kindergarten.
- Note: This entrance date is a recent Board of Education Policy change. Therefore, in this implementation year only (2025-2026 school year), a parent/guardian may enroll their child who attains the age of five (5) between August 2nd and September 30th.
- Kindergarten is required for children before entering first grade.
- Families with students already enrolled in our WCS Preschool Program do not need to re-enroll and will be contacted separately; families may also contact Preschool Services.
- All-Day Kindergarten is a fee-based, lottery program with tuition assistance available to those that qualify. Additional details can be found at www.wcsoh.org/ADK. To be included in the All-Day Kindergarten Lottery, your child’s enrollment must be completed by February 28, 2025 at 4:00PM.
- You can identify your child’s homeschool by going to www.croppermap.com/westerville and inserting your home address. For further clarification on attendance boundaries, please contact the Office of Transportation at 614-797-5950.
Enroll Online
Visit the district enrollment page at www.wcsoh.org/enroll beginning Monday, November 11, 2024 at 10:00AM to complete the online application.
