The Alpha Group will hold its signature fundraiser, the Zoom Duck Derby, on Sunday, July 25 where 5,000 rubber ducks race down Zoombezi Bay Water Park’s lazy river.

You could say Westerville South High School senior Alina Baer got started on her first book in elementary school.

As early as the first grade, Baer captured her thoughts on identity, hope, culture, courage and growing up multi-racial through poems and prose. For years, she built a collection of works but didn’t devote time to compiling them until the pandemic.
