Westerville City Schools received WARM’s 2026 Hand Up Award, which recognizes individuals or groups each year for their innovation, initiative, dedication and compassion in serving the Westerville community. 

Cherrington Elementary fifth-grader Adalynn Kenny was one of three students who received an Outstanding School Safety Patrol award for the 2025-26 school year by the AAA Club Alliance based in Worthington.

Westerville North High School senior James Scarbrough is the recipient of a National Merit $2,500 Scholarship, according to a recent announcement by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC).

Westerville South Theatre Troupe 513 received a 2026 CAPA Marquee High School Musical Theatre Award in the Backstage Excellence: Costume Crew for their fall production of Les Miserables.
