During the Westerville City Schools Board of Education organizational meeting on Jan. 13, Kristy Meyer was re-elected president while Anisa Liban was elected vice president.

Westerville Education Foundation’s upcoming Grow and Glow Family Festival offers a glimpse of Westerville City Schools’ learning community in action.

Westerville City Schools Competition Dance Team is headed to the Ohio Association of Secondary School Administrators (OASSA) Dance State Championship following their performance at the regional competition on Jan. 12 at Centerville High School.

Westerville Central High School freshman Brock Baumann has been named to the second team of the Maxpreps All-American Freshman Team.

The Rotary Club of Westerville recognized its January 2025 Students of the Month during a Jan. 16 meeting.

Amy Anglin, an English teacher with the Educational Options for Success (EOS) program; Shannon Pacheco, an intervention specialist at Westerville South High School; and Alex Marietta, an English language arts teacher at Blendon Middle School, have been honored as the Westerville Education Foundation’s January Teachers of the Month.

The Westerville community is invited to Westerville North Theatre’s Senior-Directed One Acts plays 7 p.m. Jan. 23-25 at the high school auditorium.

The Westerville Central High School Athletic Booster Club is hosting a bingo night at 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25 at the high school commons.
