WSHS senior receives perfect score on Advanced Placement exam

Westerville South High School senior Samson Gurgiolo is one of only 48 students in the world to achieve a perfect score on the Advanced Placement United States Government and Politics exam in spring 2023.

Trevor Packer, head of the Advanced Placement Program, noted that earning a perfect score on these exams is not an easy feat. 

“AP courses and exams are college-level, requiring great focus and persistence among participating students,” Packer explained. “We applaud the educators who encourage students to challenge themselves, who motivate and encourage diverse students to achieve their academic potential.”
