WCSD EL Department hosts first in-person parent meeting since pandemic

More than 250 parents and family members joined Westerville City Schools' English Learners department for their first in-person EL parent meeting since the pandemic on Thursday at the Early Learning Center. The meeting was designed to help parents with back-to-school processes such as free and reduced lunch applications and immunization requirements. 

The department plans to host parent meetings throughout the year to inform families about school information and answer any questions they may have. Parents and family members can attend the next meeting at either 9:30 a.m. or 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 11 at the Early Learning Center. The meeting will focus on PowerSchool and support parents who need help setting up their accounts.
