District Tuberculosis Testing Practice

To attend school, the Westerville City School District requires a negative TB test that was performed in the United  States for the following students:

• Current student who has returned from a TB-endemic region of which student spent 30 or more consecutive  days, or
• New student who was born in a TB-endemic region and does not have a record of a negative TB test that  was performed in the United States, or
• New student who has spent 30 or more consecutive days in a TB-endemic region within the past five years  and does not have a record of a negative TB test.

The test must be completed before scheduling an application review date.  The negative test results must be presented, along with your other required documentation, during your communication with your assigned enrollment specialist.  Franklin County Public Health does not administer TB testing.

Kroger’s Little Clinics, CVS’s Minute Clinics, Walgreen’s Take Care Clinics; OSU’s FastCare Clinics at participating Giant Eagle locations, and some physician offices provide TB testing.
