This office is charged with maintaining efficient delivery systems, as well as, cost effective services for students, parents, staff, and community members.
This office oversees the following:
Responsible for approval of supplier base for both centralized and site-based procurement needs to capitalize on cost savings opportunities and streamlining processes. Other functions of the department include: auction of surplus and salvage inventory; district copier fleet leases and maintenance; facility rentals; fixed asset recording; and Board property and casualty insurance portfolio serving as the district’s risk manager for fleet, general liability and property insurance.
We provide Transportation Services for 8,000 students to 46 locations (23 public schools and 23 non-public schools). Our fleet of 116 buses travels 1.5 million miles per year (the equivalent of 1.5 times around the world each week). In 2009 our bus fleet was recognized as one of the “Top 40 Green Fleets” in the nation.
Responsible for providing a straight-forward delivery and warehouse inventory system employing a customer friendly, service-oriented approach.
