Non-Public, Charter, Community and Private Schools

2026–2027 Non-Public, Private, and Charter School Transportation Requests

Westerville City Schools (WCS) is now accepting transportation requests for non-public, private, and charter school students for the 2026–2027 school year.

All transportation requests must be submitted through our online registration portal.

New Registrations
If you are requesting transportation for a student who did not receive transportation services during the 2025–2026 school year, please complete a new application through the online portal linked below.

Before you begin, please have the following documents ready to upload:

  • Parent/Guardian Photo ID
    • Driver's License or State-Issued ID
       
  • Two (2) Proofs of Residency

Proof #1 (Choose One)

  • Current active lease or rental agreement (financial information may be redacted) OR
    • Month-to-month leases must also include a current letter from the landlord on business letterhead with contact information.
  • Current mortgage statement dated within the last 30 days (financial information may be redacted) OR
  • Purchase contract or settlement statement for a home closing within 90 days of enrollment (financial information may be redacted)

If residing with a friend or family member:

  • Complete an Oath of Residency.
  • The resident must provide:
    • Photo ID
    • Two (2) proofs of residency
  • If the residence is leased, the custodial parent's name must also appear on the lease.

Proof #2 (Choose One)

  • Utility bill dated within the last 30 days (Gas, Water, Electric, Landline Phone, Cable, or Internet)

OR

  • Government mailing dated within the last 30 days (such as child support or government assistance)

*If you have recently moved and have not yet received your first utility bill, please contact your utility provider and request a verification letter be faxed to 614-797-7701.

Returning Registrations
If your student received transportation services during the 2025–2026 school year, you must still submit a new transportation request for the 2026–2027 school year.

When you log into the portal, you may notice your student's previous application appears in gray and is labeled "Sealed." This application cannot be edited or reused.

Please:

  • Select Add Student.
  • Complete a new transportation request for the 2026–2027 school year.
  • Upload the required documentation including Parent/Guardian ID and two (2) Proofs of Residency.

Additional Information

  • Parents/guardians are responsible for requesting transportation services for private, non-public, and charter school students.
  • The WCS Enrollment Center processes applications and verifies residency documents.
  • Transportation Services assigns bus routes after applications have been approved.
  • Families will only be contacted if there is an issue with their application or documentation.
  • Transportation schedules will be available approximately one (1) week before the first day of school.
