Summer School 2020 for High School Courses (TENTATIVE DATES - Not yet approved)

  • June 1 through June 19, First term (15 days)
  • June 22 through July 10, Second term (15 days)
    • OST Testing Dates - Monday/Tuesday - July 13 & 14
  • June 1 through July 10, full year (30 days)
    • OST Testing Dates - Monday/Tuesday - July 13 & 14

Location:  Westerville Central High School.  For a complete list of all Summer School Dates/Times/Locations click on documents to right.  Deadline to register is May 26, 2020 at 4:30pm.

Thank you for considering Westerville City Schools' Summer School program for your child's educational needs. Westerville Summer School is offered to Westerville students, as well as students from other districts.

The Westerville Summer School program continues to offer full Carnegie unit learning opportunities that our customers tell us they want and need - at a competitive price. We are a financially self-supporting operation within the Westerville City Schools' budget.

Summer Intervention Grades K-8 Registration.

(TENTATIVE DATES - Not yet approved.)  June 8 - July 3, 2020 --  8:30am to 12:00noon - Registration information will be mailed to WCS recommended students only.  Recommendation letters will be mailed the week of March 30, 2020.  If you have questions to see if your student has been recommended, please contact your child(s) School Teacher, Counselor, or Principal. A student must be recommended to complete the online registration.

Grades K-8 Summer Intervention

Students that are recommended by their Teacher/Principal/Counselor will receive an invitation letter in the mail the week of March 30, 2020.  Recommended students can register once an invitation letter has been received. Deadline to register is May 26, 2020, at 4:30pm.

  • Pre-K (Almost Kindergarten Readiness Camp) @ Hawthorne Elem (Registration Required)
  • Grades K-3 @ Hawthorne Elementary (WCS Students by Recommendation Only by School)
  • Grades 4-8 @ Heritage Middle School (WCS Students by Recommendation Only by School)
  • Grades 6-8 @ Heritage and Westerville North High School Shop & Land/Pond Lab (Recommendation Only)
  • Grades 9-12 @ Westerville Central High School (Open to all students - Registration Required)
  • OGT & OST Testing @ Westerville Central High School -- July 13 & 14 (Open to all students - Registration Required by calling 614-797-7750)
