The Westerville City School District (WCSD) Board of Education on Monday approved the resignation of Superintendent Dr. John R. Kellogg, who has accepted a new Superintendent in Residence position that will work jointly with Columbus State Community College (CSCC) and the Educational Service Center of Central Ohio (ESCCO).

Cherrington Elementary second-grader featured in national magazine Audrey Thompson

Audrey Thompson, a second grader at Cherrington Elementary, was featured in the latest edition of Kazoo magazine, a national publication for girls ages 5 to 12. Her artwork was among five in the section,” Books that Moved Us,” where readers were asked to draw a cover of a book that carried them away. Her art piece was inspired by the book, “Attack of the Underwear Dragon.”
