2021-22 GMS Cheerleading Tryout Information

Clinics and Tryouts for the 2021-22 Cheerleading team at Genoa Middle School will take place on May 25, May 27, and May 29th. Please see the attached information packet. If you are interested in tryout out for the team, please complete the forms that are on the Genoa Athletic website or contact Coach Leah Kartavich at for more information.

Future Lady Cats! - Any 8th grade girl attending Westerville South HS next school year interested in joining the girl’s golf team is invited to attend our Top Golf hitting event on Wednesday May 19 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Congratulations to our four girls competing in the State Track and Field Championships this weekend! Please wish Tiffany Z., Alyvia M., Carissa K. and Anna B. luck this weekend as they attempt to win States and set new school records!

Registration is now open for 2021-22 Athletics at Genoa Middle School on FinalForms. Any 6th or 7th grader at GMS interested in participating in a sport next school year should register. Information on fall 2021 sports and the link to register on FinalForms can be found on the GMS Athletics Website.

Central High School Cheerleading and Competition Cheerleading - Tryout clinics will be Tuesday, May 18th from 5-7pm and Thursday, May 20th from 7-9pm. Physical tryouts will be held on Sunday, May 23rd starting in the morning with exact times to be determined after we have all athletes registered.   Athletes please complete the Google Doc located on our Facebook and Instagram pages for your registration.  Please reach out to Coach Jennifer Tomes if you have any questions. 

Westerville Central High School Girls basketball program is hosting a Lady Warkawk basketball camp June 7th, 8th and 9th. The camp is for all girls interested in playing basketball that will enter 4th through 8th grades next fall. The camp is 3 days of fun-filled competitive instruction on fundamentals, skills, competitions & games by the Lady Warhawks staff & players. Come pick up a camp flyer and information located in the main office or the Athletic Office. Registration deadline is May 31st.

Attention all boys interested in playing basketball and bettering their individual skills! District champs, regional champs, and state  runner-up Westerville Central will be holding a Basketball Camp June 1, 2 and 3rd. The camp will run 1:00-3:15 PM each day in the Westerville Central Gym. Registration forms are in the office.

The Westerville Soccer program will be hosting a Summer Soccer Camp for boys and girls aged 5 through 8th grade. It will be held June 21 - 24. Please see the attached flyer for more information. 

The Westerville North Boys Basketball Program will be hosting their annual summer youth basketball camp for students entering grades 3-8.

Jaguar Walking Club

Tired of sitting all day? Want to get some physical activity with friends? Come join us at the Jaguar Walking Club! The Jaguar Walking Club is a relaxing fitness program open to all Genoa Middle School students and staff. Participants will be introduced to the enjoyment of walking. The Jaguar Walking Club will be Thursdays from 2:20-3:00 PM. Be prepared to walk outside.  Participants will sign in when they arrive and sign out when they leave.
