Huber Ridge Families & Friends,
As you likely have heard, our Superintendent Dr. Kellogg announced the district’s “Together Again Plan”. This will return all students in Cohorts A, B, & C to their schools and classrooms effective March 8th, 2021. Details of this plan can be found here on the district website. It is important to note these changes do not impact the WVA.
We are fortunate at Huber Ridge that there will be only a few adjustments that need to be made, The most significant is in our classrooms. Rather than maintaining 6 feet social distancing in our classrooms we will maintain a minimum of 3 feet. Many of our classrooms will exceed the 3 feet minimum each and every day of operation. Our only other significant change to operations will be students who eat breakfast may enter the building at 9:15am.
Many items will stay the same including...
Grab & Go Breakfast
The morning tardy bell will ring 9:35am
Dismissal occurs at 3:20pm
6 feet social distancing in the cafeteria
Appropriate mask wearing by all students and staff
Only students and staff are permitted in the building
Our faculty and staff have made a stupendous effort to prepare for our building to be together again while being mindful of appropriate updated Covid-19 Protocol. Many of the guidelines we will be following can be found by clicking this link.
I also encourage you to watch this video. In the video we discuss briefly our operational changes as well as our continued effort to support students both in person and remotely.
If you have questions I encourage you to email them to me at HilkertT@wcsoh.org. I am confident in the plans we have established and I am eager to be “Together Again”.
Take care Rockets!
