This is my eighth year teaching 5^th grade at Hawthorne Elementary.  Prior to this, I taught for three years in Columbus, as an intervention teacher in reading and as a lead 5^th grade teacher. I also taught 4^th grade in Big Walnut.  I earned my Bachelor's at Denison University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Educational Studies.  I received my Master's in Literacy from Ashland University. I have a wonderful husband and two children, Mira age 4 and Ezekiel who will be a year in May.
