2020-2021 Scheduling Timeline

At this time, students should begin reviewing the High School Academic Planning Guide 20-21.  Spend time reviewing courses, speaking with your teachers, counselor and parents about course selections that fit your future planning and academic needs.

Monday, January 27-  Teachers will discuss course offerings to each of their classes (by subject area). Students will be given information/procedures needed to select courses for next year online. Students will also receive their course selection sheets and transcript in their 1st period class.  Course selections sheets must be completed and signed by teachers then returned to student's math teacher no later than February 7, 2020. 

Wednesday, February 5-   High School Curriculum Night 6 - 8 pm  Parents please feel free to attend to gather information regarding programs and courses.

Friday, February 7-  Course Selection Sheets returned to student's Math teacher.  

Monday-Wednesday, February 10,11, and 12-  Students enter course selections in PowerSchool during Math class.

February 13 - March 13 - Counselors will meet one on one with each student to review course selections. Please take this time to meet with teachers and discuss course options with your parents.  Once you have done so, please make a list of any additional questions and concerns and bring them to your assigned appointment.

Once completed, students will receive a copy of their Course Requests from PowerSchool.  Parent Approval Signature Required

IMPORTANT INFORMATION!!!

AFTER APRIL 15th: These are the ONLY Acceptable Schedule Adjustments you will be able to make to your 20-21 schedule:

 

Not enough classes (Need to be enrolled in 5 courses)

Deleting a duplicate course

Need to add a course for graduation

Delete a course not on registration sheet

College Credit Plus questions or timing of classes

Add courses to eliminate Study Halls

Upgrade level of a course (Honors to AP)

AP/IB Course clarification- See Mr. Heinmiller
