Greetings to the Hanby Community!!

The year has flown by! As we near the end of the school year it is always a special time for me to reflect on the amazing growth of your children; physically, socially and most importantly academically. I am encouraged by the intellect and responsibility that each student has gained throughout the year supported by the excellent staff I have the pleasure to work with. I am truly lucky to begin each morning greeted by the smiles and joys of each of your children that you share with us at Hanby.     

I look back at a year of committed parent and community support, remembering the wonderful programs that we have been able to provide for your children, but most of all I am thankful for all the special talents and knowledge each and every student brings to Hanby. Together the students, the staff and you; the parents, have worked to create a very positive learning climate for your children and I celebrate the successes of each and every one of our students. The spirit of community is alive and well at Hanby.

The year has been a wonderful journey, a year of discovery, of inventiveness and of building community both within the school and extending to the local community. Each and every one of you are an important part of the growth and success for our students and our school. I cherish the children for their intelligence, their wit, and their unique personalities and I am grateful for the time that I have to share with all of you.

Take time this summer to learn together.  Read a book, take a trip, play math games and study nature.  Educational growth is important during the summer as well as during the school year. 

I look forward to a new school year in which together we will continue to grow as a community enhanced by the exceptional resources and curriculum each of our unique programs have to offer.  It will be an exciting school year as we grow together as a family of learners.
