A little bit about me
My name is Alisha Porter and I am the School Counselor at Cherrington and Whittier Elementary schools. This is my first year working in the Westerville City School District and there is nowhere else I would rather be. I graduated from Ohio Dominican University with a Bachelors degree in Middle Childhood Education (grades 4-9 Language Arts and Social Studies). I taught 6-8 grade Language Arts and Social Studies for three years before pursuing my Masters degree in School Counseling. I enjoy spending time and making memories with family and friends. I also love reading (Young Adult literature, Professional Development, and History), swimming, traveling (Chicago, D.C., London & York England, and Orlando are some of my favorite places), sporting events (GO BUCKS and CAVS!!!), and photography.
