I graduated from Miami University of Ohio in 1999. I've been teaching elementary general music ever since. I love my job and am so thankful that I have been at Alcott Elementary for 16 years. I have finally finished my coursework and almost have my Master's Degree in Montessori Education from Xavier University. I have studied many philosophies of music education and use the best strategies from each to structure a well-rounded and thorough classroom experience. Music is very important in my life. I have seen first hand the joy and growth that result from practices in music. I believe that if I create an inspiring atmosphere in the classroom that Alcott students will look for the joy in music all around them.
Please send in any "Basic Blocks" Legos you would like to donate to the Alcott music program. We use the blocks for rhythmic understanding.
PLEASE SEND IN GIFT CARDS WITH NO REMAINING VALUE! Once you have used your gift cards and they have no value, we can use them to punch out guitar picks.
