Westerville North senior Peter Sandvik was selected as one of the 2013 Central Ohio High School Scholar-Athletes recognized by the Columbus chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame. Sandvik represented Westerville North and the OCC-Cardinal. During his senior year, he was team captain and Most Valuable Player, while also being named 1st Team All-Ohio Capital Conference. He was Honorable Mention All-District as well.
In addition to football, Sandvik is a member of the lacrosse team. Outside of sports, he is a junior mentor and part of the Warrior Way Leadership team. He also mows lawns and works at Graeter’s Ice Cream.
An honor student, Sandvik holds a 4.64 grade point average. He is currently undecided on a choice of college. He is the son of Thor and Emily Sandvik and was coached in football by Rodger Elander.
