The Westerville South High School Theatre Department is proud to present The Hero Project: A Super Spectacular Scho Show! The program will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 17. General admission tickets cost $6 and can be purchased at the door on the day of the performance. It is appropriate for all ages.

The Hero Project is a fundraiser for the Erin McKenzie Theatre Participation Award. McKenzie, a 2004 South graduate, was involved in theatre at South and the award is given in her memory each year. This show typically raises enough money to fund three $1,000 scholarships for college bound Westerville South seniors who have been involved in theatre during their high school years. The scholarships are presented at an end-of-the-year banquet. The variety show centers around one main subject, superheroes. The Hero Project is written completely by Westerville South students and directed by seniors. “We believe that Erin would agree that the arts provide a powerful support to a student’s self-esteem and confidence!” said Sarah Detrick, Director.
