Under the direction of the Office of Business Operations, this office works to maximize resources to support educational success. This office is charged with maintaining efficient delivery systems, as well as, cost effective services for students, parents, staff, and community members.

This office oversees the following:
Food Services
Responsible for providing meals that are nutritious and appealing to students and staff in a safe, sanitary and welcome environment while containing costs.  All meals are designed to meet one-third of a student's caloric needs.  The operation is fully self-funded and uses no general fund dollars

Responsible for daily requisition review and approval of supplier base for both centralized and site-based procurement needs to capitalize on cost-savings opportunities and streamlining processes. Other functions of the department include: auction of surplus and salvage inventory; district copier fleet leases and maintenance; donation processing and valuation; facility rentals; fixed asset recording; and Board property and casualty insurance portfolio serving as the district’s risk manager for fleet, general liability and property insurance.

Transportation (Logistics)
We provide Transportation Services for 8,000 students to 46 locations (23 public schools and 23 non-public schools). Our fleet of 116 buses travels 1.5 million miles per year (the equivalent of 1.5 times around the world each week). In 2009 our bus fleet was recognized as one of the “Top 40 Green Fleets” in the nation.

Warehouse Services
Responsible for providing a straight-forward delivery and warehouse inventory system employing a customer friendly, service-oriented approach.
